Specifications
This kit includes a swage stud turnbuckle, a swage fork terminal and two stainless steel screw eyes.
The fittings in this assembly kit need to be swaged with a cable crimper or a hand swager tool.
A cable railing should include 7 to 11 runs of cable, depending on the height of the posts.
The Nautica cable railing system - II is ideal for "corner projects", especially for stairs cable railing.
The Nautica cable railing system – II is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cable railing projects.
When the cable passes through intermediate posts, it is recommended to install a protective sleeves.
Installation instruction
Installation Guide (Nautica Cable Railing System - Timber Post – II)
Install the stainless steel screw eyes in the wood post and attach the swage stud turnbuckle (with clevis pin) to it.
On the other end post, install the stainless steel screw eyes in the post and attach the swage fork terminal (with clevis pin) to it.
Insert the cable into the the swage fork terminal and swage. For long distance, swage 2 or 3 times. Make sure to rotate 180 degrees for each swage to ensure robustness.
Cut the cable by measuring the distance to the swage stud turnbuckle. Insert the cable into the stud and swage.
For tensioning, simply rotate the turnbuckle body.
